Giving Back

The Gift of Giving Back

Giving and togetherness speak to the true spirit of Christmas. At Cashyn Homes, we wish to spread that joy to those who need it the most this holiday season. We intend to pay it forward by volunteering for Samaritan's Purse for Operation Christmas Child.

Cashyn Home's co-owner, Brennan, has been volunteering for the past few years and thought it would be great if we could all join in the fun!

"We were given the option to sort and pack shoe boxes or be part of the assembly line," Brennan explained about the volunteering process.

"It truly felt magical there, such lovely people and very welcoming. Kinda like we were helping out right in Santa's workshop!"

We're looking forward to filling shoeboxes to the brim with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies for children worldwide and Aboriginal and Inuit communities in North America. With more than 20,000 volunteers in Canada, Calgary is the main hub for collecting, shipping and distributing to children in the developing world and countries affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease with gift-filled shoeboxes.

By giving back alongside Samaritan's Purse for Operation Christmas Child, we hope our volunteer work with them brings happiness and joy to children worldwide this holiday season.
